Step 1: Accessing Softaculous
1. Log in to your cPanel account.
2. Locate the Softaculous icon within the Softaculous section and click on it.
Step 2: Selecting and Installing the Script
1. Once the Softaculous panel opens, you will find different categories on the left side. Each category contains multiple scripts. For this example, WordPress is under the "Blogs" category.
2. Expand the "Blogs" category by clicking the small gray arrow next to it.
3. Locate WordPress and click on its name to access the script details.
4. On the script details page, you can review ratings, reviews, and access a demo if available. To begin the installation, click on the "Install" link next to the "Overview" button.
Step 3: Filling Installation Details
1. You will be directed to a new page where you need to provide installation details. This includes the domain name, installation directory, administrative login credentials, etc.
2. By default, Softaculous may select a sub-folder instead of the main domain. If you want the installation to be on the main domain, leave the "In Directory" field blank.
3. It is highly recommended to change the default login details (admin/admin) to enhance security. Choose a strong and unique password.

Step 4: Installing the Script
1. Scroll down to the end of the page and click on the "Install" button.
2. The installation process typically takes 45-60 seconds. However, larger applications may require more time for installation.
