Enabling specific PHP extensions can enhance the functionality and capabilities of your website or application. This guide provides a step-by-step process to enable PHP extensions using the Webuzo control panel.
Step 1: Log in to Webuzo

- After successful login, you will be redirected to the Webuzo dashboard.
Step 2: Changing your PHP version
- Scroll down your Webuzo dashboard to the "Configuration" section.
- Look for the "MultiPHP Manager" option within this section and click on it.
- Select the PHP Version, for it to work correctly with the PHP Selector since it is powered by Cloudlinux, you must select any of the versions that "alt" in them, for example, "PHP 8.1 (alt-php81)".
- After selecting your preferred version, click on the "Apply" button and wait for the success message. Then you can click the "OK" button and proceed to the next step.
Step 3: Accessing PHP Selector
- Scroll down your Webuzo dashboard to the "Server Utilities" section.
- Look for the "PHP Selector" option within this section and click on it.
Step 3: Enabling PHP Extensions
- In the "PHP Selector" interface, you will see a drop-down menu listing the available PHP versions. Select the PHP version you enabled in the "MultiPHP Manager" to see it available extensions.
- Enable the desired extensions by ticking the boxes next to their names.
Step 4: Apply Changes
- Once you are done with enabling your desired extensions, click on the "Apply" button to effect the changes.
