Uploading Files through File Manager

The File Manager in Webuzo provides a convenient way to upload files directly to your hosting account without the need for a separate FTP client. This guide outlines the step-by-step process of uploading files using the File Manager in Webuzo.

Step 1: Log in to Webuzo

1. Visit the Webuzo login page and enter your login credentials.
2. After successful login, you will be redirected to the Webuzo dashboard.

Step 2: Accessing the File Manager

1. Scroll down your Webuzo dashboard to the "Server Utilities" section.
2. Look for the "File Manager" option within this section and click on it.
3. The File Manager will open in a new tab or window.

Step 3: Navigating to the Root Folder

1. In the File Manager, you will see a directory tree on the left-hand side.
2. Click on the "public_html" folder, which represents the root folder for your website. By default, Webuzo opens this directory when you click on the "File Manager" option from your Webuzo dashboard.

Step 4: Uploading Files

1. With the "public_html" folder selected, click on the "Upload Files" option in the header section of the File Manager.
2. A dialog box will appear.
3. Click on the "Select Files" button to choose files from your local system.
4. Browse your local system and select the file you want to upload.
5. Once you have selected the file, click on the "Open" button to initiate the upload process.
6. Repeat steps 3-5 for each file you want to upload.
7. For a faster process if you have all the files in a single folder, you can click on "Select Folder".
8. Browse your local system and select the folder you want to upload.
9. Once you have selected the folder, click on the "Upload" button to initiate the upload process.

Step 5: Verifying the Upload

1. After each successful upload process, you will now see the uploaded files/folder listed in the File Manager.
