Removing an FTP account is essential for maintaining security and ensuring only authorized access to your server. When an account is no longer needed, deleting it prevents potential misuse. Follow these steps to safely delete an FTP account:
Step 1: Log in to Webuzo
- Access your Webuzo account using your login credentials.
- After successful login, you will be redirected to the Webuzo dashboard.
Step 2: Deleting an FTP Account in Webuzo
- Scroll down your Webuzo dashboard to the "FTP" section.
- Look for the "Manage FTP" option within this section and click on it.
- On the Manage FTP page, click on the check box next to the FTP account you want to delete.
- Click on the "Delete Selected" button and for the warning popup, if you also want to delete the FTP home directory, you can select the checkbox and click on the Yes button. But if it is only the account you want to delete, then click the "Yes" button without selecting the checkbox to delete the FTP home directory.
By following these steps, you will successfully delete an FTP account.
